Q: I click on a page under a sub menu but where’s the main page?
A: As you move your mouse pointer over any page on the menu bar it will highlight in YELLOW which means it has content and you can select it. For example if you click on Egypt that is the main page for that section. Similarly if you click on Egypt and then Unravelling the Past that is the main page for that section. Q: What do the white squares on the menu mean?
A: The white squares mean that there is a sub menu below that main page. For example Unravelling the Past is a sub menu item of Egypt and News 2005 is a sub menu item of News.
Q: How do I use the Ancient Egyptian Chronology timeline?
A: A detailed tutorial is available here, but basically you use the slider to highlight a year and then select time item (usually a circle shape) to tell you about that period. Or if you want to go more in depth you can select a diamond shape and that will tell you about various Dynasties for the time period. If you want to look up a certain word say Narmer the you can click the search button and enter the search term [Narmer] and then click search. Please note that searches are case sensitive.
