Case there are 9 deities:- Ra, Atum, Shu, Tefnut, Nut & Geb, Osiris, Isis, Set and Nephthys. Legend

has it that these 9 deity's all came from a  primeval mound at Heliopolis.

Memphis

Ancient Capital city founded by Menes / Narmer around 3000 BC, Memphis was located just south of contemporary Cairo its ancient name was Aneb-Hetch.

Nome

An adninistrative district. Egypt was divided into 42 nomes.

Nomarch

The Administrator of a Nome.

Waset / Thebes / Luxor

Ancient Egyptian name:- Waset / Thebes and is now modern day Luxor.

Eight deities worshipped in Hermopolis (Nu & Nanuet, Huh & Hauhet, Amun & Amaunet, Kuk & Kauket)

Uraeus

A styalised Cobra usually attached to a crown or headress and used to denote Royalty. It represents the goddess Wadjet who was worshipped in Lower Egypt.
